Top 6 sites to buy a domain

What is a domain
For those of you who don't know, a domain is basically a URL. A URL is a website. When you purchase a domain, you get that website, and all of its sub links. There are also lots of different plans you can get with the domain-selling company. You get a limited number of pages, traffic, and sometimes you can buy other options. Buying a domain is very simple, its coding the website that takes the time and effort. You can very easily buy a domain for $10 a year, and name it www.IamawesomebecauseIhavemyowndomain.com. You can name your domain anything that you want. You can also choose .net, .org, .tk, and lot of other kind of endings. I find it more interesting when they company puts them together, such as filecabi.net. Without any further ado, here are our 6 sites:
1) Weebly
I guess that this is probably the easiest because there is a simple drag and drop feature that lets you add content your website very easily. I like this the best, because I don't have to do much coding. You can easily add a text, video, photos, maps, products... the list goes on and on. Weebly is constantly adding new features, and making your life easier. You can buy a website for $40.00 a year, or you can choose different plans for more years. This is a little expensive compared to other sites, but you don't have to do much HTML coding. You can also buy PRO for a few months, and you get more features to edit your site.
Buying domain tips
1) Make sure that when you are buying them, that it is very easy to remember. Don't pick how-to-make-a-website-online21.info, pick makeawebsiteonline.com if you can. Try to also keep it short if you can.
2) Sometimes the cheapest price may not always be the best. Consider upgrading to a bigger server, or buying more options. Remember, you have to spend money (or time) to make money.
3) If you are buying on an auction site, consider bargaining with the seller. You may get the website a few hundred dollars cheaper.
2) 1&1
I think that this is the cheapest places to buy domains. One and one lets you buy .us websites for only $.99 a year. I think that that is a pretty good deal. You can also buy a .com is about $8 a year. You can also buy templates from them, so you don't have to design all of your work. They also have a lot of other bundles and deals on their site that are pretty good.
3) Godaddy
This is probably the widest know domain registering website out there. They spend a lot of money on advertising, you have probably seen them on TV before. You can literally pick any website that is available, and buy it for just $10. This is perfect for setting up a site for a school, a reunion, or just a site that you are hoping to make some money with. You can buy a .info website for just $1.99 a year. This website also has an auction, so you can bid, or sell domains. There is a lot of coupons out there that are usable on this site, you just have to find them. I just googled godaddy coupons. For more reference, view the video below.
4) Sedo
Sedo is also a domain auctioning site. It's like a domain Ebay. You can buy domains for a reasonable price, or sell one on their very active marketplace. Sedo also allows you to park your domain. Parking is when all you do on your domain or website is display a search engine, and advertisements. This can be very profitable if you get the right domains.
5) WebsiteBroker
Website is a pretty good auction company. Before you buy a website, it tells you how many views it gets per month, and how much money that it makes per month. Each website has a profile, on it has all of that website's information. They only problem is that they are a little expensive. You could buy a website that generates 10,000 pageviews a month, and $300.00 a month, for just a low 30,000! That was sarcasm. Their prices are outrageous. I would buy a website from them if it was under $200.
6) Pool
Pool is another auction company. They also have a back list service. This means that you can sign up for a website domain that is about to expire, and you can buy it when it does. They give you a list of domains that are about to be (or are) deleted, and waiting to be claimed. Other than that, it is just like WebsiteBroker.

I hope that you found what you are looking for, and decide to buy a domain to fit your needs. Overall, 1&1 seems to be the cheapest, and Weebly seems to be the most user-friendly. Sedo seems to be more of an auctioning site, and Godaddy is that best known domain selling company. WebsiteBroker has outrageous prices, but amazing statistic. Pool is almost like WebsiteBroker, but has a "waiting list" for domains that are about to expire. Feel free to leave a comment it you bought a domian with one of these companys, I would love to see it. Thanks for reading.
